Hi I’m Brian Fournier,

I want to share a little bit of information about me – probably a bit more that I should but anyways. I’m 43 years old, am married and have two children.

For quite some time I suffered from hemorrhoids in complete silence and being male, I believed that I simply had to “suffer in silence” and deal with it. I was so embarrassed about the whole thing that I didn’t even tell my wife. Just for the record my wife only found out after I had and have come to terms with my problematic hemorrohoids.

I have to tell you , I was so embarrassed to ask my doctor about them. I finally got up the courage to discuss it with him. My doctor told me that it’s likely that my lifelong struggle with constipation was the likely cause of my hemorrhoid problems.  My doctor suggested to me a variety of solutions.

Any ways, I have found no one size fits all solution to my problem (so to speak), but a combination of things, diet, lifestyle and a variety of medications help a lot. So this is why I created this blog. But let continue the why.

A few years later, my dreaded hemorrhoids showed up again. But this time it came back with a vengence, I experienced blood on the toilet paper (I know its gross, but what can I say its what happened!) . This totally freaked me out, and scared me to death. I thought I had cancer for sure. My friend and neighbor, had this same issue, and she ended up having cancer, which was treatable - I might also add that she has a clean bill of health as of this writing. So I freaked out and was off the Richter scale, and promptly went to see the doctor to have it checked out. Fortunately it was only hemorrhoids, a pale alternative, but a lifesaver just the same.

As a result of my suffering in silence with my hemorrhoids, I resolved to I create this blog. To provide you the reader with a variety of information that is written in a variety of ways so that you can read decide what is best for you. PLEASE do take action for your own sake, health and peace of mind. I feel compelled to help people come to grips with this issue, and hopefully not suffer in silence.

Just remember one thing, I can tell you one thing for sure, and  that is you’re not alone – there are no accurate estimates of how many hemorrhoids / piles sufferers are out there...think about it how would approach some one to find out. Nuff said.

Lastly don’t forget that most hemorrhoids sufferers keep quiet about this problem, yet it’s a very common condition that can hit anyone of any age so there’s nothing to be embarrassed about and despite what you may have been led to believe, there is a cure for piles and hemorrhoids.
