Depending on their location hemorrhoids are of two types:

1-The ones located outside the anal opening are known as external hemorrhoids

2- The ones located inside the anal opening are known as internal hemorrhoids.

It’s quite difficult to diagnose the internal ones because there are no pain receptors inside the anal opening and the sphincter muscles and the patient who suffers from it does not feel any pain. The only initial symptom could be staining of the stool by blood. To detect internal hemorrhoid early you have to observant of your stools to notice any abnormal coloration.

External hemorrhoids are located outside the anal opening and very easy to diagnose and treat at an early stage. They cause pain because of the presence of pain receptors and also the external ones are quite visible from outside. Hemorrhoids are easier to treat in their early stages than in the latter stages when they would have started bleeding and developed some complications like external hemorrhoid thrombosis. { Click the links in the last paragraph below to know how to deal with complications of hemorrhoids}

Thrombosis is a condition in which the blood gets clotted inside the vein. The vein here is the one which is connecting the anus with the rectum. Clotting of blood could be because of two reasons. Firstly the anal area was not kept clean and there is secondary infection of the hemorrhoid. Bacteria and other germs set inside the hemorrhoids and formed a clot inside the vein. These types of clots are very dangerous since they block the flow of blood worsening the situation by causing more irritation and pain. ( Click the links in the last paragraph below to know how to stop hemorrhoid pain promptly)

There could be physical reasons apart from the pathological ones in forming the clot or thrombosis. Physical reasons could be change in the chemicals that form blood known as hypercoagulability, change in the composition of the cells that form a vein and also the changes in the pattern of flow of blood inside the veins. These blood clots could lead to very dangerous situations if the blood clot gets transported to the heart or the brain which could ultimately lead to death.

To deal and preferably prevent the occurrence of thrombosis, certain measures are very useful:

- An improved personal hygiene of the anal region by keeping the area very clean and free from infection is essential. Also the area should always be kept well ventilated by wearing loose clothing and avoiding very tight cloths.

- Increase in fiber diet in meals will also help to make stools soft and smoothen the process of defecation. (Learn how to avoid common diet mistakes in hemorrhoids by clicking the links in the last paragraph below)

This package also teaches you about a mixture of herbs that if used promptly will dissolve the clots fast and relive the terrible pain and swelling of the thrombosed hemorrhoids.

Clear anal discharge?

i'v been noticing this for the past 2-3 days. I'll wipe my butt and notice clear liquid on the toilet paper D:. What could this mean? As for medical history, I did have a huge internal hemorrhoid for a few months, but recently (about a month ago) had a colonoscopy and prescribed medicine to shrink it, and few weeks back the doctor said that it was completely gone. I still experience some constipation, so i sometimes take this laxative that i was given to continue take every day, although i have been lazy and only taking it like once a week.

So could this been the reason?

first of all you should take the laxatives other wise you will end up thrusting causing another hemorrhoid constipation is bad enough but if you can't be bothered then you are asking for trouble go back to see your dr as this fluid could something still related from the opp it is not good to leave yourself wide open to another hemorrhoid they can come back but missing the laxatives as you no will cause more distress get them started now see how you go till you can get to see your dr as as possible you should no better the dr dose not give you something to take to help you then not use it its for your own good hope you get it sorted
