Do Hemorrhoids Cause Constipation

I am really scared that i could have hemorroihds because i heard that constipation causes it and i have been constipated in the past few years and yesterday i was constipated again and today i went and i strained myself and it was hard then when everything came out red bright blood came out. Later i felt pain and i still do. I know i know go to the doctor and i will on monday but do you think this could be hemrroids
well a month ago i went to the ER but thaey said i didnt have that but i mean could i later develope it or in that month could i have gotten it?

Sounds like 'roids to me. Good thing you're going to the doctor to make sure though. Any time there's blood coming out of an orifice, it's a good thing to have it checked. I've always heard that as long as it's bright red, it's ok, the dark red is the kind you have to worry about.

Good luck, and start eating more fiber! And drink LOTS of water. Stool softener is also good.
