Hemorrhoids Itching At Night
<strong>Are these serious symptoms? I am getting worried.?
Here is what happens to my friend. When he walks sometimes he anas itches. Then he find he has to wipe and there is blood on this tissue. Can it be a hemorrhoid and that's it?
He also has breathing and swallowing problems. He coughs and chokes when the weather gets chilly. It's horrible. He is up at night because there is a flemmy tightness in his throat.
I am worried about him. What kind of exams should he get?
As far as the anal problem he should have his prostate checked ASAP!!! He could have prostate cancer and if he doesn't get treatment FAST he could be in a world of sh!t. But, many diseases and conditions can cause rectal bleeding. Common causes include anal fissures, hemorrhoids, cancers and polyps of the rectum and colon, diverticulosis, abnormal blood vessels, ulcerative colitis, ulcerative proctitis, Chrohn's colitis, infectious colitis. As for the coughing and phlegm he should get checked for a bronchial infection.
If he's coughing up yellow, green, or brown phlegm, his body is in the process of fighting an infection. If the color of his phlegm is brown or gray, it may be his body is expelling tars or resins built up from smoking or inhaling large amounts of dust. If he's seeing blood streaks in his phlegm, it could be a sign of serious bronchial infection, tuberculosis, or even lung cancer. Regardless of the color of his phlegm, if he's coughing it up, he should go see a doctor. Tell him to make sure he never swallows the phlegm and always spits it out. Good luck.
