Hemroid/Hemorrhoid Treatment- How To Get Rid Of Hemorrhoid Symptoms Without Stress

Hemorrhoids/Hemroids or piles are dilated veins occurring in relation to the anus. The word hemorrhoid is derived from the greek words haima meaning blood and rhoos meaning flowing, also the word piles is derived from a latin word called pila which means ball. These hemorrhoids may be external or internal to the opening of the anus. When these veins are irritated, they cause surrounding membranes to swell, burn, itch, become painful, and even bleed. { Click here for more information on how best to cure the symptoms of hemorrhoids}

Hemorrhoids bleed when the blood vessels rupture, which can be induced by straining during a bowel movement. This kind of bleeding can also be caused by other more sinister diseases like cancer of the colon and rectum, polyps of the colon and certain inflammatory diseases of the colon and rectum, so if you experience rectal bleeding do not assume that it must be due to hemorrhoids alone, you should go to your doctor for proper examination and consultation. (Click here to know how to stop bleeding hemorrhoids permanently)

Hemorrhoids are a very common problem. Most men and women will get them as they get older. Trauma to the anus and any type of straining can make hemorrhoids worse.

Risk factors and causes in addition to constipation and straining with bowel movements include constant sitting, diarrhea, severe or chronic coughing, pregnancy and childbirth, or lifting of heavy objects. { Click here to learn more about the real risk factors for hemorrhoids}

Simple conservative measures are successful in alleviating symptoms for most patients with hemroids. Some of the conservative measures of treating hemorrhoid symptoms are:

1-Bleeding:

Clinical trials have demonstrated that adding fiber to the diet through supplementation with psyllium or appropriate commercially available fiber preparations may significantly reduce bleeding episodes associated with hemorrhoidal disease. Psyllium as well as methylcellulose adds bulk to stools, making them softer and easier to pass. Also there are a lot of natural foods that are rich in high fiber diets that you can buy at your local grocery store. You just have to check the fiber contents of the available foods to make the right choice. {If you want to know the best natural food items for the treatment of hemorrhoids click the links in the last paragraph below}

2-Irritation and itching (pruritus):

Irritation and itching associated with hemorrhoids may be treated by various measures including the following:

Warm sitz baths - During sitz baths, the rectal area is immersed in warm water for approximately 10 to 15 minutes two to three times daily. Sitz baths are available in most drugstores; in addition, portable bowls are commercially available that allow for their use in the workplace. The effectiveness of warm sitz baths may be due in part to relaxation of the internal anal sphincter.

Fiber supplementation may help to alleviate itching as this tends to make stools bulkier thereby reducing feacal soilage since leakage of rectal contents will be greatly reduced. (Click the links in the last paragraph below to learn how you can put a final end to leakage of hemorrhoids)

3-Application of various pain-relieving (analgesic) creams:

Creams and suppositories, particularly hydrocortisone, should not be used for longer than one week unless directed by your doctor, since they may result in certain side effects, such as skin rash and inflammation (contact dermatitis) with pain-relieving creams or skin wasting (atrophy) with steroid creams.

As good as these different techniques mentioned above are in relieving the symptoms of hemorrhoids they are best suited for treatment of mild cases as they only attack the symptoms without getting to the real root causes of the disease. (Click the links in the last paragraph below to put a final stop to the pain of severe piles)

To cure the more chronic hemroid cases you have two main options to use:

Option 1- You might need to go for some other more complex means of treatment. These can include rubber band ligation, sclerotherapy, cryotherapy, laser coagulation or surgery. These procedures have side effects and they do not guaranty total cure of symptoms.

Option 2- The best option is to make use of a holistic complete natural cure. The use of natural cures is without side effects and it is consists of simple instructions that can be understood by everybody. This type of treatment gives total complete relief most of the time as it gets to the real root causes of hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoid Home Treatment, 7 Foods to Avoid Now

By Luke

So why do we get hemorrhoids in the fist place?

And if we do have them is there a hemorrhoid home treatment that is effective, as opposed to the normal commercial stuff that’s out there, that really doesn’t get to the root cause of hemorrhoids.

The answer in short is yes there is a hemorrhoid home treatment, which is very effective, but more on that later, first let’s take a look at why we get hemorrhoids.

A lot of people think that it’s just their lot to have been born with them or something; well that’s just not the case.

After a lot of intensive research in the alternative therapies field it’s thought that the majority of cases, of hemorrhoids are caused by imbalances in out bodies caused by modern day pollutants, along with processed foods, which our bodies are not designed to take in high volumes of.

Now there’s possibly not a lot you can do about the pollutants around us, but you sure can do something about the amount of processed foods you ingest.

But:

Before we move on I think it’s worth pointing out that not all processed foods are bad here’s a couple of examples: pasteurized milk, or homogenized milk, frozen vegetables, whilst fresh is best, freezing does retain the essential vitamins and minerals, I’m sure you get the point.

The ones to steer well clear of are foods with large quantities of sugar, sodium, and saturated fats.

These would include:

1.White bread or pasta made with white flour

2.Refined sugars

3.Canned foods with lots of sodium

4.High fat convenience foods

5.Cakes and cookies

6.Processed meats

7.Breakfast cereals with added sugar

So when all this processed/refined food is ingested, it can cause constipation making stools harder, and so much more difficult to pass, this along with irregular bowel movements, and other reasons can be seen as the “root causes” for hemorrhoids.

So I’m sure you are beginning to see that there is a hemorrhoid home treatment available, but you most likely need to clear your refrigerator out.

Of course you could always just use the commercial lotions and potions that are on the market to give you a quick relief fix. But you know this only works for a limited time.

You know deep down that these creams, ointments, and suppositories don’t work for any lasting period of time, they may take away the burning and itching for a quick fix, and of course the other down side is that, they also have side affects for some folks.

If these products worked and, where so good, answer this question: why are you always encouraged to purchase these products in multi packs? So stop the quick fix mentality and work on the root cause of the problem.

It’s the root cause that needs to be resolved, first of all stop eating these bad processed foods, and switch to a hemorrhoid home treatment plan of action, and put all that embarrassing, bleeding itching and pain firmly behind you, once and for all.
