Yesterday in the shower I felt a pea sized lump around my anus. I looked it up and the possible causes are colin cancer and hemorrhoids. Obviously I prefer it be one over the other. I have rarely noticed some dried blood on my toilet paper, but never payed much heed. Im just that kind of guy. On further inspection, the 'lump' is hard, not round, and sort of pointed. It sits just above (or below..it's difficult to get oriented) the anus and will move a little bit. It's painless though. I don't really get any itching. I do do allot of standing, about 7 hours a day on average and I understand that can cause them. I'm 23 though, not 50. What do you think?
I don't think u should panic,a visit to a specialist would sort you out.... I was diagnosed with cits once of my GP but when i have seen a specialist it wasn't what the GP said.... I think u shoud go to the doctor...

2 days ago it felt like a pimple, while taking a shower now it feels more like a lump under/around my anus. it doesnt hurt I just feel smtg swollen. I ve had the worst 2 weeks I had a bump on my labia minora and found out yesterday it was just a pimple not herpes. I dont know if it's just coincidence or not but my lymph node in my groin have been swollen as well that could be caused from shaving(I've had those under armpits but they went away within a week)...ive been sweating alot whole body wise due to this stress.
Wow! Sounds like you've had a heck of a couple of weeks!
It's probably a pimple brought on by stress, which you seem to be having in spades. I once had a pimple in that area (technically it turned into a "cyst") that grew to the size of the end of my little finger before bursting. Yes, it was as gross as it sounds.
An external hemorrhoid will get bigger and bigger, get inflamed and red, and start to itch given enough time. Hemorrhoids can be the size of blueberries up to the size of grapes and even bigger. External hemorrhoids also form right on a really dense band of nerves, so they tend to hurt quite a lot.
However, it also sounds as though you could be suffering from low grade infection in the area. I'd take the lumps and bumps to a doctor just to be on the safe side.
Admittedly, products being touted as a surefire treatment for hemorrhoids can be found easily nowadays. However, the true efficacy of many of these so-called cures is still rather questionable.
Hemorrhoids, also known as emerods or piles, refer to the swelling and inflammation of the veins in the rectum and anus. This condition can be brought on by sitting for extended periods of time, increased straining during bowel movements, hypertension, obesity and even pregnancy. While not particularly life-threatening, piles can still be very uncomfortable for some people. In particular, the symptoms of external hemorrhoids can include painful swelling, or a hard lump around the anus when a blood clot forms.
The symptoms of hemorrhoids commonly go away after a few days. However, while they are present, they can cause discomfort and even acute pain to those afflicted by the condition. These symptoms can also create complications – trying to alleviate rectal itching through scratching, for example, can lead to blood infections and other, worse illnesses.
A good treatment for hemorrhoids must be able to address these symptoms in the least amount of time possible. However, the rectal area is a very sensitive place to work with. Dozens of veins are located close to the dermal surface and skin in this area is generally thin, which means that it can easily be irritated. According to many dermatologists, the chances of skin irritation are apparently higher with synthetic pharmaceutical medicine than with natural organic treatments blended for both rapid, lasting efficacy and hypoallergenic action.
Synthetic drugs are incredibly powerful, and can take effect in a very short period of time. However, that power can take a toll on the human body. And when treatment for hemorrhoids is concerned, additional external effects must be lessened as much as possible. Organic treatments harness only the power of nature, through various plant extracts and oils blended specifically to treat emerods effectively and safely. Scientific tests have proven their effectiveness, and so have thousands of satisfied consumers worldwide.
