Tucks Hemorrhoids

Tips for Hemorrhoids (TMI)?

OK so i gave birth 10 months ago and during labor i got a hemorrhoid, Going to the bathroom has been hell ever since. I have talked to my Dr he gave me some suppository, they were so so still was a pain to use the bathroom and still hurt… Then he gave me some cream, that didn’t work. I have been using Tucks every time i use the bathroom. I take stool softeners every day, I get fruits and veggies. I drink a ton of water… But it still hurts so bad every time i use the bathroom and now it is bleeding.. what do i do…
Is there a surgery to get rid of them for good, is there something that i have not tried? PLEASE help!

Please only serious answers!

Ive had one for 8 years now. It subsided then I got pregnant with baby #4 and it came back with a vengeance. And it bleeds as well..I do the Tucks and Prep H thing. There is a surgery you can have but ONLY if you dont plan on having more children. As theres a chance for re-acurance and if it does come back…the drs I SAW said that you could possibly bleed to death or have it for the rest of your life :-/

What is the difference between Thrombosed & strangeled Hemorrhoids?

I have a Prolapsed Internal Hemorrhoid and plan to see a Dr. soon about it but was curious what the difference is? The description I have read online sound the same except one is from external and the other is from internal hemmies. Thanks!

Also, about a year ago my hemm. gave me a few days of moderate pain and bleeding. What caused this? Did it burst or something. I didn’t think anything of it except that I wanted relief from the pain but I let it heal on it’s own. Thanks!

I think the condition is actually called strangulated hemorrhoid, and as far as I understand it, the strangulated hemorrhoid is a prolapsed hemorrhoid (an internal hemorrhoid which has pushed through the anal opening) who has the blood supply cut off by the anal sphincter.

A thrombosed hemorrhoid is an external hemorrhoid, so it develops outside the lower rectum from the beginning, and it’s defined by a hard lump or swelling formed by a blood clot.

The condition you are describing points indeed to the conclusion that your hemorrhoid ruptured. This is quite common and it happens when the blood pressure in the veins increases, which leads to stress and ruptures. The high blood pressure was most probably caused by a sudden movement, stretchering, increased heart beat or something similar.

Hope this helps :)
